The basics of it I can sum up boil down to. Pick a Theme and/or Archetype Make a list of Staples you COULD use Make a List of Cards for your Theme and/or Archetype you COULD use Deck First Draft Make a List of selected Theme and/or Archetype Support Deck Second Draft Deck Testing Deck Third Draft Finishing Deck - note you might go through the above two steps many times before you reach this point.
I'm working on finding more of this information so anyone that wants to help track it down can post what they think might help.

I normally build my deck using another tactic:
Do random stuff. Pick a funny combo you discovered. Pick support for it and fill up the missing spots with staples, trying to make it a 20/10/10 like split. Deck Testing If stuff didn't work out, try to make it more consistent. Deck Testing 2 Be frustrated because your deck is kinda crap. Deck Testing 3 Decide to play with it anyways for the funsies.
