Recently created him in a story where the main character had to beat D.D. God Dragon combo'd with this and was not going to actually make him due to how f'd up the combo is, but it was begging me! lol God Dragon did also have the effect of whenever it was to leave the field by an effect, even banishing or bouncing, it banished a d.d. dragon.

no lie, outside of D.D. God Dragon's self protection ability, it really is in this deck. no other card can make use of it, outside of it also being a fusion material for D.D. Dragon - Exodus, since this deck really doesn't deal with the graveyard.

I started with a clear plan on how the character was gonna win and then I thought of that card, added it in and damn near had to rewrite everything lol it was hard trying to get around that banishing effect with it still attacking. it was beyond fun to plan out though

I can't get over how D.D. God Dragon can't mess with the Egyptian God Cards, outside of ATK...I really like that people are keeping their powerful, though i seriously think people are wrong with the 3 tribute Normal Summon. I think they are Special Summoned. Here's the duel Ouroboros originated. Basically, the Grandfather has God Dragon inside him, but is dying and the main character is picked by God Dragon to be it's new owner, but he has to win him in his Grandfather's possible last duel. This is just the outline, but hopefully it's still effective lol

GRAND FATHER VS Harold

(Grand Father: 8000/ Harold: 8000)

Turn 1:
Harold plays D.D. Fusion (banishing Raito, Makura, Kudo for Chaos Crusher) then summons D.D. Dragon - Aruval and sets D.D. Passage, D.D. Shift and D.D. Transformation. (S:1/ GF:5)

Grand Father summons D.D. Ouroboros Dragon (Lv 4/ ATK: 0/ DEF:0) then plays D.D. Rapture, banishing D.D. God Dragon and x3 D.D. Fissure Dragons.  Next he Special Summons D.D. God Dragon by turning  the x3 D.D. Fissure Dragons face down to increase its attack x500 for their total lvs (lv4 x 3/ x500 =6000ATK). Plays D.D. Blessings and by banishing a D.D. Dragon the other D.D. Dragons he has are not destroyed this turn. Ouroboros’ effect immediately sends it from being banished to the graveyard. He uses God’s effect and targets Aruval to banish it and do damage equal to the difference in the ATK of Aruval and God. Harold activates D.D. Transformation banishing Aruval, making God’s effect vanish, and Special Summoning D.D. Dragon - Void. Grand Father tells Harold that he can still attack and destroys Void. Harold banishes Void from his graveyard and targets God to banish it but Grand Father tells him that God is unaffected by targeting effects.  (S:1/ GF:1)

Turn 2:
Harold plays The Dragon’s Gift banishing D.D. Dragon - Hishou and drawing 2 (S:2/ F:1). Harold plays D.D. Abyss in an attempt to banish God but God’s effect banishes Ouroboros instead, which activates Ouroboros’ ability sending it back into the graveyard. Harold summons D.D. Shift Dragon the switches it for Hishou then tries to attack Grand Father’s life points directly but Grand Father Special Summons D.D Dragon - Seraph and uses its effect to banish Hishou but Harold activates D.D. Shift to switch out Hishou with D.D. Shift Dragon who switches back out with Hishou who then attacks Grand Father’s life points again (Grand Father: 5500/ Harold: 8000). (S:0/ GF:1)

To maximize damage Grand Father banishes Hishou doing 3500 damage (Grand Father: 5500/ Harold: 4500) then tries to attack but Harold activates D.D. Passage Special Summoning Void who gets destroyed in battle. Grand Father sets 2 cards(S: 0/ GF: 0)

Turn 3:
D.D. Fusion now Special Summons D.D. Dragon - Chaos Crusher who negates all other face-up monsters’ effects, dropping God’s ATK to 0 and making it unable to activate the Ouroboros Loop.  Harold attacks with Chaos Crusher but Grand Father activates another Blessings banishing Seraph so God isn’t destroyed but still takes battle damage (Grand Father: 2400/ Harold: 4500). Harold tries to banish God with Void’s effect but Grand Father activates Divine Oppression, negating Void’s effect and negating the effects of all Non-Divine type monsters and all Spell/Trap Cards on the field until the end of his next turn. (S: 1/ GF:0) 

Grand Father activates the effect of God, banishing Chaos Crusher and explains that regardless of which monster is strongest the difference comes out of Harold’s life points. (Grand Father: 2400/ Harold: 1400) then switches God into defense position. (S: 1/ GF: 1)

Turn 4:
Harold passes. (S: 2/ GF:1)

Grand Father activates D.D. Fusion banishing  5 D.D. Dragons for D.D. Dragon - Exodus who’ll banish all other D.D. Dragons in his hand, deck, graveyard and field once it hits the field with 4000ATK during the 2nd Standby Phase. Grand Father sets 1 cards then ends. (S 2/ GF: 0)

Turn 5:
Harold plays a 2nd The Dragon’s Gift, banishing  D.D. Dragon - Avalon and drawing 2. He activates D.D. Storm banishing all S/T cards on the field followed by  another D.D. Passage, Special Summoning D.D. Shift Dragon, who shifts out for Avalon, who Special Summons Chaos Crusher. Chaos Crusher destroys God and Avalon attacks directly. (Grand Father: 0/ Harold: 1400)

sounds pretty good. i actually made a short story about my custom archetypes too(well like 3 duels which are supposed to be really far in the story lol). maybe some day i write down the duels

Is there a section where I'd be most appropriate to post written duels? Outlines or fully written? I have one of Seto dueling against Tea Gardner that I think people might dig a bit.

yugioh discussion and off-topic seem the only places for now. but i guess you(or me) could ask Outlaw to make a fanfic section. it would actually be a pretty good way to make something like sneak peeks for archetypes if you have a big creative mind like me because i have like 10 archetypes not published. it would also be good for basic custom card fanfics, or a way to 'adversite' your fanfic by introducing strategies and etc.

True about the introducing strategies, because how I had Harold to get around God Dragon is how I ended up having to do when going against the AI a couple of times lol I'm glad I didn't add the 'this effect cannot be negated or chained to' effect to it...sad times would come lol

I'll post the Seton vs Tea duel when I get off work. I prefer just to type out the duels moreso than a story because the duel is the most important part anyway lol I'll put a bit of backstory as to why they're battling though
