| With so much draw power anime cards offer, cards that skip turns and ways to special summon monsters whose conditions are there for a very good reason, I just gotta say this: We NEED a card that nulifies instant win effects like Exodia or Final Countdown.
So please, anyone, come up with a way for it to happen... |

| lol I think I had one in the single cards section but lost track of it. Wasn't sure on the phrasing of its effect to nullify special victory effects though. |

| Totally agree with you VB99, Exodia has it easy enough until now and deserve to get rekt lol But I'm not sure whether you come up with a script for that that easily as a Duel Win through a effect neither is an registred Event nor an regisrted Category if you go after the constant files :/ |

| I would think Divine serpent would do the trick, just that it makes it so you can't lose at all, rather than just negating instant win effects. |

| Trixie... Divine Serpent doesn't work against instant win. Try it out, the script is broken. |

| Are we able to script something that does negate exodia? If so we could just add in effects on divine serpent to negate all win condition cards or prevent them from activating while he is face-up. |

| Even then, there are some porblems, because there are effects that can simply bypass divine snakes effect... Tremendous Fire, for example. |

| Im confused are you saying tremendous fire causes you to lose when your life points hit zero even with the snake out? How does drawing out work with snake too. Sounds like there needs to be a ton of fixes. If we can get it working right what would happen if both players have snake out, no cards in both players deck and hands and no other cards on the field? |

| Infinite ATK vs Infinite ATK destroys both monsters like normal same ATK vs same ATK. So it would come down to reaching the duel turn limit and if I remember right that would be 100 or so turns. |

| Problem with that is divine serpent has to send 10 cards from the deck to the grave to attack. If you have no cards in your deck he can't attack and if you both only have him there is nothing that either of you can do to win. I have also never heard of a duel turn limit and I just looked it up and found nothing. Where was it you heard of this rule? |

| The duel turn limit is something in Ygopro that applies once the turn counters limit is reached (999 or 9999, not sure which one). IIRC, the game simply crashes when the player ends his turn then, though I'm not sure, since it's something I've heard about, yet never reached.
The problem with divine serpent is the script when it comes to drawing: It skips your draw phase when you have no cards in your deck. Cards like "Hand Destruction" are your instant death in that case. Adding the effect of "Protector of the Sanctuary" only working for you would fix that.
And yeah, Tremendous Fire deals still damage to you... no idea why, seems fishy, I can only say that it is the way it is.
In my opinion, a new script should be made, saying "if you control this card, you cannot lose the duel". Would make everything way easier, because eventhough no such script exists ATM, I see no other way to fix it. |

| Would we have to modify ygopro to add in a script like that? Seems like it would fix a lot of problems with the snake, so unless it's too complicated I don't see a reason we shouldn't try. |
