"Grand Monks" is an archetype that i'm currently working on

combination of xyz and synchros

They're not that op(I think) and quite balanced in my opinion(I hope O:)

The problem is, i'm an idiot when it comes to coding these cards to lua and sqlite. I know how to add them but I really don't know how to do the effects and other stuff for them. And I'm also having a hard time learning about the archetype number list. All in all I have no knowledge(I'm still learning D:) so I would really appreciate the help guys >:

I don't mind helping. an easy way that i use to keep archetype card numbers straight is to have each as a bday of myself and people i know (ex. 1-15-94 would be 11954000) I usually try to have the Boss Monster as 000 lol The thing that makes it easier is that listing them is easy and putting them all in Hex (ex. 11954 in hex would be 0x2EB2 (google whatever your numbers are before the 000, 001, 002, etc and add "in hex"). I hope I'm not confusing you...it's 4am here lol If you redo your numbers, lmk what you want your archetype hex to be because it'd make it a lot easier to do some of these and show you how they're done. the first one's, first effect can be taken directly from Cyber Dragon's lua

As for the boss monster of the deck.. the 2 xyz and the synchro would be the bosses. I'm currently thinking of more cards and ideas to add. So yes, your help about showing me how to code them will make it alooot easier for me to get these cards finished D: I gib u cookies

(Oh btw, i also just learned now about the Effect_Type and stuff. But what I don't know is what each of them do so I'm not sure which effect is which. Hoping you could give me some info, coz it would really help teach )

err.. I don't know what you mean by "cards they go to with these cards". Mind slowing it abit? I have no idea what to do D: and about the "Chain" card's hex, is it okay if I come up with random hex's?

in the left corner of the cards you've already made, they have numbers. since you're going to renumber them i'd need to know the new numbers and the monsters/spells/traps they go to. that's cool with your idea for the "chain' cards' hex. i usually do the bday thing and just go 1 number higher.

Ah! Alright. So you mean, they all must have like the same numbers in their first 3 numbers or something like that?

with my d.d. dragons their numbers go like this

32083 (bday) plus their numbers (000 and up)

D.D. God Dragon: 32083000
D.D. Shift Dragon: 32083001
D.D. Dragon - Infinity: 32083002
and so on

for another set that i have where i have cards that search their s/t cards, i just changed the hex by 1 number higher. makes it a lot easier than scripting the hex and then adding either spell or trap and whatever else.
